Top High Image Corp. (stock code: 3284) successfully demonstrated two
innovative CTP plates during TIGAX exhibition. (Taipei International Graphic
Arts Exhibition, Taipei, Oct 7~Oct 10, 2010). The first product is T-JACK,
which is a positive thermal CTP plate compatible with Japanese CTP plate
processing chemicals; another one is T-AQUA, which is a water washable
negative thermal CTP plate for high environmental protection concerned
users. Combing with these 2 new developed plates, Top High Image Corp. will
become one of few CTP plate manufacturers with more options and product
varieties in the world.
The major CTP plate suppliers are still the ones from US, Europe and Japan.
However, Japanese CTP plate has its unique processing system and cannot work
with others. Therefore, the users of Japanese CTP plates are constrained to
the use of high price plates without options. The T-JACK plate offered by
Top High Image Corp. is specially developed for the above mentioned
customers; customers can use T-Jack plate with the same system they have
been working on, so it’s easy and not confusing at all. Additionally, T-JACK
is the first CTP plate, which is not made by Japanese manufacturer, but
still can compatible with its processing system. In the near future, Top
High Image Corp. will be able to promote T-JACK to the existing Japanese CTP
plate users and later on promote it to potential Japanese market.
Based on our understanding, the so called water washable CTP plates in the
market still need small amount of chemicals while processing the plates.
Therefore, the chemical wastes after plate developing may still create
hazard and engender our environment. The T-AQUA offered by Top High Image

pure water. This plate will benefit many customers, especially the ones with

concepts. Followings are some key characteristics of T-AQUA,
-Negative plate. It needs less laser energy while imaging plates, which
results longer working life of laser head. Owing to the nature of negative
plate, its run length can be significantly higher than positive plates to
fulfill the demand of high impression jobs.
-Water washable plate. Customers do not have to worry about replenishment of
chemical developer as well as the adjustment of time and temperature. The
only thing you will need is water for plate development.
-Resistant to UV inks. Owing to its high impression and scratch resistance,
it’s capable for UV ink printings.
